An Open Letter to Customers

Dear customers:

Amid the Chinese Spring Festival, we would like to express our sincere wishes and greetings to you.

In response to the outbreak of the novel coronavirus nationwide, Xi Jinping, the General Secretary of the Communist Party of China Central Committee, urged Party committees, governments and relevant departments at all levels to put the safety and health of the people in the first place, to strengthen measures in the prevention and control of the novel coronavirus outbreak, and to resolutely curb the spread of the epidemic.

Since February 3, we started to work online. Although some of our projects cannot be carried out and communicated on site due to the epidemic, we will maintain close communication with you, research institutions, suppliers by telephone, WeChat, email, and work together to mitigate the impact of the epidemic. The measures we have taken include but not limited to:

I. Except clinical studies andon-site work of the contracted R&D management that cannot be normally carried out due toepidemic control, all other work will proceed normally. For RA consulting on drug application, technical evaluation and other projects, we will work at home to ensure that project progress will not be affected; for drug registration services, we will pay close attention to their progress and requirements of the regulatory authorities and make every effort to ensure the normal progress of all projects.

II. For the ongoing projects, we sorted them one by one and will discuss the project operation plan with the sponsor to minimize the impact of the epidemic on the implementation of the project and make endeavor to meet the sponsor's plan.

III. For projects to be submitted for ethical review, we will get in touch with the hospital ethics committee in advance and try to coordinate the ethical reviews to keep them from being affected. For the clinical projects to be kicked-off, we will prepare the plan and ethical review materials first. Once the epidemic is under control, the projects can be started as soon as possible.

IV. Our professional team is also conducting various preparations and trainings in order to contribute to the fight against the novel coronavirus.
